North Branch Early College

The North Branch Early College (NBEC) is an exciting program for high school students who want to get a jumpstart on their college education and their careers. In this three-year, career-focused program, students participate in an integrated sequence of high school and college courses with no out-of-pocket cost for books, fees and tuition.

North Branch Early College consists of:

  • 11-12th grade students enter a college program while still in high school.
  • Students may complete the program with an associate’s degree in three years (grades 11, 12, and 13) or transfer their credits to a university.
  • Students completing the program are poised to move ahead of a traditional schedule toward degrees or technical certificates that match the students’ chosen career pathways.
  1. Upon completion of their fifth year, students will graduate high school with one of the following:
  • An Associate Degree
  • The Michigan Early/Middle College Association (MEMCA) Technical Certification
  • Up to 60 Transferable College Credits

The North Branch Early College is proud to partnership with Baker College, Mott Community College, Rochester University, and Macomb Community College to provide the college courses.
